Abstract:The general situation of Jinchuan mining area and the characteristics of Jinchuan deposit are introduced. Especially the location of the metallogenic belt, geophysical anomaly characteristics, metallogenic geological conditions, and the downward extension of the orebody are respectively compared and discussed. It is considered that the prospecting potential of Jinchuan deep and edge is huge. At the same time, two deep prospecting target areas are discussed and recommended in detail- one of them is the deep part of the conjunction area between mine area I and mine area II, the other one is the deep part of the conjunction area of II1 ore body and II2 ore body. One surrounding or edge prospecting target area is the southern part of mining area III. Those point out the direction for further prospecting of Jinchuan deposit.
