Abstract:The dryer is one of the important equipments in the flash copper smelting process. The copper concentrate is conveyed into the dryer through the belt, and is in contact with the internal steam-introducing coil to evaporate the water to complete the drying of the copper concentrate. The operation of the dryer directly affects the operation effect of the flash furnace. The steam dryer of the Guixi Smelter has problems such as blocking at the feed end, easy wear of the coil, and low heat exchange efficiency. Improvements in equipment structure and process methods have improved the operating efficiency of the steam dryer and provided good conditions for improving the operating rate of the flash furnace.
