Abstract:Power main transformer is the key equipment in power distribution network, and it is also one of the equipment that causes the most power system accidents. Substation transformer is the common oil-filled equipment in power system, which contains a large number of flammable substances. When the transformer is on fire, it will spray oil onto nearby equipment. Therefore, special attention should be paid to the fire safety of transformer. In order to reduce the hazards of power transformer explosion and fire caused by faults or other reasons, based on the analysis of the fire protection work of transformer in a substation and the relevant normative documents, this paper summarizes the practice of the fire protection work of transformer in a factory substation, and puts forward the improvement direction of the fire protection facilities when transformer is built or expanded in the future.
