Abstract:Since 2022，nonferrous metals industry has been greatly affected by the dramatic fluctuations in global macro-economy and the external factors such as Russia-Ukraine conflict，COVID-19 pandemic，and the rising inflation in the United States. Therefore， under the background of increased downward pressure of global economy，copper enterprises need to seek suitable development strategies so as to increase their competitiveness by combining their internal condition and external environment. Based on the in-depth study of SWOT analysis，this paper takes Company T as an example to analyze its advantages，disadvantages， opportunities and threats. The strategic plan for its development is put forward by building a SWOT analysis matrix model.
