Abstract:The structure of side blowing furnace is briefly described, and the application and development trend of side-blowing furnace is analyzed. As the core component of side blowing furnace, the structure design of copper water jacket directly affects the safety of side blowing furnace. Based on the analysis of heat transfer mechanism of copper water jacket, the numerical analysis model of copper water jacket is established. By applying the FLUENT software, the cooling water temperature difference, temperature field and cooling intensity of copper cooling element are simulated, which provides the theoretical basis for the design of copper cooling element.
