Abstract:The steam dryer of smelting systemⅠin Guixi Smelter is mainly used for secondary drying of pre-dried copper concentrate. In this paper, an innovative machining process which repair the large diameter side gear of the dryer on site without disassembly is introduced. The machining process meets the requirements of turning repair of some large-size spare parts without disassembly condition in the process of mechanical equipment repair.
