中文摘要: 开发高效、稳定、低成本的非贵金属基双功能电催化剂是实现水裂解制氢的关键。纳米阵列结构电催化剂由于结构上的优势,引起了人们的广泛关注。本文采用溶液燃烧法在泡沫镍(NF)上原位生长三维纳米片阵列的CoOx/CeO2。结果表明,在CoOx/CeO2催化剂与导电泡沫镍基体的直接接触、 Ce和Co之间的正协同效应下,开放的三维纳米片结构以及其无黏结剂的一体化R-CeCo/NF电极对析氢反应(HER)和析氧反应(OER)表现出优异的催化活性, HER和OER的过氧化电位在10 mA/cm2时分别为48和267 mV。此外,该催化剂在100 mA/cm2电解液中能稳定运行100 h,电流密度几乎不变。此项研究不仅说明了Co基电催化剂在水的电催化电解中具有巨大的应用潜力,而且为制备高效、稳定的Co基催化剂提供了一种可行的策略。
Abstract:Developing efficient, stable, and low-cost non-precious metal-based bifunctional electrocatalysts is crucial for hydrogen production through water electrolysis. Nanoarray structure electrocatalysts have attracted widespread attention due to their structural advantages. In this study, three-dimensional nano-sheet arrays of CoOx/CeO2 were in situ grown on nickel foam (NF) using a solution combustion method. The results showed that CoOx/CeO2 catalyst, in direct contact with the conductive nickel foam substrate, exhibited a positive synergistic effect between Ce and Co, an open three-dimensional nano-sheet structure, and excellent catalytic activity for both the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) and the oxygen evolution reaction (OER), with overpotentials of only 48 and 267 mV at 10 mA/cm2, respectively. Furthermore, the catalyst could operate stably in an electrolyte at 100 mA/cm2 for 100 h with almost no change in current density. This work not only demonstrated the enormous application potential of Co-based electrocatalysts in water electrolysis but also provided a feasible strategy for preparing efficient and stable Co-based catalysts.
