Abstract:Steamdryer provides qualified dry concentrate for flash furnace, which is essential to the stability of operation. The coiler is the critical element of steam dryer and exploring the methods to improve the resistance of corrosion and abrasion is an indispensable work. About the industrial experiment on improving the corrosion and abrasion resistance of steam dryer coiler of 2# flash furnace in Guixi Smelter. The result of the experiment shows that coating film on branch pipe can extend the coiler service life.
